Description of border run services in Krabi

Documents

Departure card TM-6 (if you have it) and passport with a validity period of at least 6 months. If less than 6 months remain until the end of the passport validity period, then it will not be possible to make a border run. Also, if you have done already 2 border runs, you can not cross border by land more.

Limitations

Border run is allowed to do 2 times during the calendar year. Exception for Russian passports — for Russian people, there is no limit on the number of border runs during the year for trips to Satun.

With 'overstay'

If your current visa / stamp has expired at the time of the border run, you will need to pay an 'overstay' fine of 500 baht for each day of delay.
