Phuket Town, which wonderfully combines Chinese and Portuguese culture, will appeal to lovers of beautiful architectural structures. Embark on an exciting walking tour to discover the colonial past of Phuket's Old Town and, of course, take vivid photos for memory.
The tour begins with a visit to the local market. We will see how early in the morning there is a lively trade in the local market for the ingredients for cooking for the day.
The walk to Chin Pracha Mansion lies through the shopping malls with bright exotic flowers. This stunning example of Chinese colonial architecture will give you a full picture of how a wealthy family lived in Phuket decades ago.
After exploring the interior of Chin Pracha House, we will take a walk to the Tai Hua Museum to learn more about how Chinese immigrants settled in Thailand. This museum is located just a stone's throw from Talang Road, lined with authentic Chinese-Portuguese style buildings and charming street shops.
We will have lunch in the old-style restaurant and, if desired, purchase original local snacks.
At the end of the tour we will see the old post office. On Phang Nga Road, we will walk past the oldest hotel in Phuket.
It is possible to cancel your reservation free of charge at least 24 hours before the start of the event.
