by James Bond, Krabi and Phi Phi Islands
James Bond Islands (Ko Tapu) is a small limestone islet in Phanga Bay northeast of Phuket. It can be considered the point from which the tourist boom began, which turned the island of tin miners, Phuket into one of the most attractive places in the world.
Krabi is a province on the south-west coast of Thailand, which is famous for its steep limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests and numerous coastal islands. The most famous beach holiday destinations in the province are the rain forested Phi Phi Islands, which resemble giant boulders protruding from the sea, and Riley Beach, popular with rock climbers, which can only be reached by boat.
